Sarah Paisley is a normal 17 year old going through a complicated time in her life. Due to her father's demise she has moved with her mother and younger brother to the small town of Proklet, where her mother grew up. It's been over 20 years since Sarah's mother left there, but Proklet hasn't changed a bit with all its superstition. Sarah learns about the town's most famous urban legend of a creature known as the Slenderman, and as she is obligated to enter its forbidden woods she will discover that there is more to the Slenderman than just legends.
