The Gate must be protected at all costs. Behind it lies the land which has become known as "The Garden". Home to all who have served in The Peaceful Army and battled an ancient enemy who would usurp The Garden and turn it into "The Wasteland" which lies beyond The Gate. The enemy has slept for a hundred years, waiting for the right time to try once more to take The Garden. But in that time The Garden has bloomed. Vast forests and rivers have sprung forth, the land is green and fertile and it's people loving and kind. Whispers have begun to travel through the land, that the enemy has once again returned and there will be a Battle at Garden's Gate.

Humanity stands on the brink of extinction. Protected by a great but impermanent barrier, the inhabitants of Hope Garden prepare to fight against the coming onslaught. How long do they have before the barrier fails? Nobody knows, but once it does, they will have to fight for their lives, or humanity will become extinct. - - - Note: I'm primarily a gay-themed writer, so assume all stories will include LGBT content/characters.
