Though before they can act on their new calling, those officers they "rendered incapable of repeating offenses" take their revenge, which ultimately strands Dima and Miya among those they sought to save. Deep in the slums of society and under the care of a struggling family. No problem. Your place in society is a simple matter of your abundance of virtues and minimal vices.
