Sesshomaru preferred to travel alone. But as he continued his journey searching for purpose and power like his father Toga did before him, he found himself collecting a small entourage, a human orphaned girl by the name of Rin that he took pity on, deciding to be a sort of guardian for her while she went through her adolescence. And Jakan a low level imp demon who had swore himself to service of Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru and his stoic personality never wavered around them, though every so often he would have to go out of his way to protect them from some sort of danger, specifically Rin. But danger continued to grow as he tracked Naraku down for disrespecting him. The valleys of feudal japan becoming war zones against demons and humans. And while searching for a place to stash little Rin away while he was away where she would be protected he found himself making yet another ally in the form of a Nine tailed fox demon by the name of Yoko.

Ryiarui, a samurai sworn to the young lord Kagewaki Hitomi, lived her life with unyielding loyalty and honor. When her lord is slain and possessed by the demon Naraku, Ryiarui refuses to accept the truth. Bound by oath and blinded by devotion, she serves the monster wearing Kagewaki's face, her denial chaining her to dishonor. But her world fractures when she crosses paths with Sesshomaru, the aloof daiyōkai who spares neither man nor demon unless they hold value to him. Drawn together by battles against creatures that threaten both humans and demons, Sesshomaru becomes the first to see through her blind loyalty. Where Naraku twists her devotion, Sesshomaru tests her resolve, pulling her into a journey where her faith, pride, and very identity are challenged. As Naraku's web spreads and incarnations rise to hunt them, Ryiarui must decide where her loyalty truly lies: to a memory of her fallen lord, or to the cold, unyielding demon lord whose presence awakens something deeper than duty. Through fire, betrayal, and blood, Ryiarui and Sesshomaru forge a bond neither expected-one of sharpened steel and unspoken trust, born not from honor, but from choice.
