In an alternate universe, in another timeline, but perhaps one not so distant from our own - humanity does not appear in the Milky Way Galaxy until after the collision with Andromeda begins. There is no earth, no earth cultures, histories, literature, etc. although vast and many parallels exist. Except here, humans have cracked the Unified Field Theory, harnessed gravity, and spread to the stars. Untold heptillions of people have deconstructed countless planets to make homes. Concepts like war, commerce, faith, and identity manifest on scales we can't even imagine.

Until now.

Starclysm seeks to explore these concepts through grounded, relatable characters. In this book, Axy's journey will be one of fear, treasured moments, existential crises, combat, and exploration of the infinity of space as well as of the mind. There are thousands of years of world building to catch up on, so brace for some dense worldbuilding!

Desperation, ideals, greed, and hope - they all have a role to play in tearing the galaxy apart. The human race finds itself at the precipice; a mysterious, monstrous force threatens everything in the cosmos, and all the while, the unity of humanity's Empire threatens to shatter just when it is needed most. Never before has extinction been so tangible a possibility, and never before has exceptional courage, intellect, and luck been more needed. This is a story about more than just people, their ambitions, and their conflicts: it is a story about crisis, set in a universe where survival, for any side, and for anyone, may be impossible. It remains to be seen if the popular patriotic saying, "Humanity endures," will remain true - even for a week. -- If you wish you purchase a paperback version of this novel, you can do so on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Humanity-Endures-Evan-Peter-Armstrong/dp/B08P8QK86H. 20 years ago, the world was on the brink of extinction when the Galactic Federation saved Earth. Since then, humans pledged our loyalty to serve them. Human's connection with one of the higher beings in the universe, resulted in Earth's civilization rising to a higher level. Two decades passed and new generations rose. I, Alexa Stanfield, a 20-year-old college student, found out that the Galactic Federation saved Earth for a dark purpose. For two decades, we've been conscripted and nurtured under the guise of care, only to unveil our grim fate as pawns in an Intergalactic conflict, thrust into a war we never signed up for. The previous species that Galactic Federation sent were annihilated quickly. Therefore, they were forced to use us, as their new human army, opposing the plan's timing. My friends and I were selected as candidates with the resilience to withstand mind manipulation. We endured an intense training regimen that was more like a deadly game of survival. The Federation believed that this was the only way to prepare us for the war since they have no time to waste on conventional methods. My friends and I share an unbreakable bond and loyalty, soon to be challenged by the most harrowing trials. Armed with only our school learning and raw life experiences, we'll face murder, death, sacrifices, and betrayal. A kid, old, man, or woman, there's no exception, regardless of age or gender. Our training ground? Safira, a verdant moon planet. This is the story of our involvement in the most intense training of our lives.
