Cien initially dismissed it as the ramblings of a desperate woman, until a survivor from a previous Eblis disappearance turned up dead. Suddenly, the hunter became the hunted, framed for a crime he did not commit.

The clock was ticking, and the choice was stark: rot in a prison cell for a crime he didn't commit, or jump into Eblis.

Either option meant darkness, but one offered a sliver of a chance to clear his name while the other promised a slow suffocation.
