Yn is a student at the university of California with her boyfriend Kevin, a tall handsome man with long beautiful black curls, ivory skin, and most importantly golden brown eyes. During their third semester of college, Kevin decides to break off the relationship "I'm sorry yn, but this is just too stressful for me to handle" he says as he leaves your life completely. This leaves yn in a bind and in a moment of desperation decides to move out the apartment. Now sitting on a park bench, yn wonders what to do until she heard a voice that seemed to silence her thoughts "What's a pretty girl like you doing here so late at night". She had to admit, it was pretty dark, and she was quite scared and alone. "I have nowhere else to go" she mutters softly as she looks up at the man for the first time and what she saw was shocking. An older man with a white streak of hair and plenty of tattoos. "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt for you to stay with me would it?" Yn hesitates, she couldn't possibly room with a stranger, let alone a much older man right?

Where a nasty breakup brings Alyiah closer to someone. "Don't cry over that idiot," his voice was muffled by my hair. "I'm trying not to," my voice wavered as I tried to stop crying. "You were too good for him," he grabbed my shoulders and moved me from his chest, he wiped the tears on my cheek and said, "you're too pretty to cry." "I thought you said I wasn't cute," I sniffled trying to stop crying. "I'm trying to comfort you," he tucked strands of hair behind my ears "I can't tell you the truth at a time like this and technically I called you pretty." "Sure," I rolled my eyes, "I probably look ugly right now." "Yeah you kinda do," he nodded, hands still holding my cheeks. "Shut up," I lightly pushed him, "and what are you doing out here." Just a cute romance novel to clear your mind
