My heart pounded in my chest as I ran... I ran through the corridors that seemed to stretch endlessly. Blinking back tears that blurred my vision, I desperately sought an escape. In the next moment, I heard his sinister voice behind me, "caught you," as he amused sending chills down my spine. He effortlessly lifted me in his arms, his hold tight and unyielding. Though I wanted to struggle but my body was still with horror I just witnessed. He walked down the corridor, ordering someone to close the door that I had unwittingly opened, sealing me in this hellish nightmare. Hearing the door close, I snapped back to reality, my entire being trembling with terror. "Don't worry, love, you'll soon get used to it," he said placing a gentle kiss on my forehead. His callous words worsened my trembling... his kiss haunting, a stark reminder of the danger I was in, I felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness.
