In ancient Egypt atem ruled as pharaoh with his friends and heba by his side as the story goes heba and atem fell in love with each other. Until one night when they lose each other , now atem being in the future with his new friends and a new chance at life what will these next adventures hold for yugi, atem, and the rest of the gang? Will atem be able to heal from his past enough to open his heart to the present?
(This will be a yaoi as most of mine are if you don't like you don't have to read. Seeing as I don't like tea there will be some bashing in here later in the story with her but i'll try to keep that at a minimum.)

Yugi, a young boy who was a servant for the royal family in Egypt, had stumbled upon the young prince with one of his teachers in the garden. Yugi was not allowed to befriend or speak with Atem unless asked or forced to. One day, Yugi was playing with some of the other servant kids until the young prince and his friend Mana were out in the field kicking some rocks. The young servant had not realized on how much he and the prince looked alike, the only 2 differences were that Yugi was way more paler and was not royal. Yugi had somehow gotten hurt, and this is where the relationship began. As his "friends" left him because they could not handle the crying, the caring prince and his friend rushed over to his aid. The servant just thought they'd help so none of their 'slaves' would be harmed and could continue working but that's not how Atem saw it. Later on things had happened to where the prince had ordered his father to keep Yugi in the palace, so the two grew up together until war began. For 3 years Atem had left..
