The summer before the third year happens differently for Harry. The Harry that returns to Hogwarts is not the same one who left. Harry decides to make some changes in his life. As days turn to weeks and weeks turn to months the Harry everyone knew had vanished replaced by the true Harry that had been hidden away years ago. With the change in Harry, things happen differently than in canon. When Hermione had gotten Harry's firebolt confiscated, Harry did not get angry because he knew that Hermione was more important to him than any broom. As usual, Ron overacts at Hermione's decision to go to McGonagall about it and he gets mad at Harry for forgiving her. This incident causes a rift in their friendship because of their fight. With Ron not talking to them, both Hermione and Harry get closer to other befriending many new friends. How will Dumbledore handle being no longer willing to be controlled, manipulated, hide his true self, and act how everyone expects? What all will change now that Harry decides to take back the reigns and get control over his own life? How will the wizarding world handle their new boy who lived? Will Harry be forced to be controlled once more or be free to be who he truly is? Will the wizarding world find Harry as a threat when they see who he truly is?
