Evangeline is in her third year now and quite content with her life. She still misses her mother dearly and she still deals with the effects of losing her mother. She's made some friends and she lives her life freely.
James, his life is absolutely perfect. He has his friends-which are more like family. He has his parents, he has Quidditch and he has Lily Evans (sort of and by that he means not at all). His three long years at Hogwarts have been absolutely perfect, he still has trouble sleeping (but it's fine he'll take a quick power nap inbetween classes).
Evangeline still has trouble sleeping. The dorms are nice and the bed is super comfy but she just can't bring herself to sleep (Don't worry about her, she'll find a nice peaceful spot in the common room to read, she'll fall asleep in no time).
James still can't seem to sleep so, you know what, he'll go down to the common room to try and get himself to fall asleep somehow. Evangeline is surprised to see James Potter, 'Gryffindor's golden boy' sitting on one of the couches near the fire, staring off into space with clear eye bags present on his face. One simple "Are you okay?" is all it took for The Fates to intertwine James Potter and Evangeline Lachlan's lives. Hopefully The Fates take it easy on them. Shit- did I just jinx them?
