Karlie is married to Josh Kushner. She and Taylor Swift hadn't spoken for a few years, after being really, really close for a few years, from 2014-2016 mainly. Now, they both were in relationships. When Taylor speaks up about mistakes and other negative aspects of the current administration, she also makes a jab at the Kushner/Trump family. The family is furious, and wants to denounce Taylor's words, they find the most powerful way to do this is through Karlie's platform. Following the motto, 'hit them where it hurts': They knew Taylor had a weak spot for Karlie. But what they failed to realise, is that that feeling was mutual. After staying silent about both her political views and love for Taylor that never went away, Karlie did decide to speak up. (Trying to re-imagine Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss together. This time through Karlie's POV, the story is set around 2019/2020. Purely for fun, not trying to predict the future or saying any of this is actually the truth)

I do not claim to know anything about the two (hence, fiction) but this story is going to follow a timeline based on real life historical events and song lyrics. Taylor Swift is a global pop sensation with an almost 20 year career under her belt, Jordan Adkins is an American singer-songwriter that completely blew up two years ago, her first album making numbers no one in the music industry had seen for a debut. Jordan's songwriting skills were compared to the ones of Taylor herself, everyone labeling her as "the next Taylor Swift" and Taylor absolutely fucking hated it. The blonde woman was fully over it and even though she knew it wasn't the younger singer's fault, Taylor couldn't help but resent her for it. During Jordan's first year of fame, the young brunette singer would namedrop Taylor every chance she got, she was such a big Taylor fan and everyone knew it. Taylor even found it adorable, at first, but after the comparisons started and Jordan started pulling off the numbers she was making, Taylor didn't like it so much anymore. At one point, Taylor asked her publicist to reach out to Jordan's and ask her to stop naming her on interviews. Jordan hasn't uttered anything Taylor related ever since. That should have been enough to ease Taylor's feelings, right?... Right? This is all a work of fiction, I do not own anything about this except for the story and original character. This story is very loosely (kind of) based off Olivia Rodrigo's journey to fame but know that this is NOT meant to be her, so don't think this is some kind of weird Tay x Liv fic cause it's not.
