But no matter how many times she shows up, he keeps her at arm's length, lost in something unspoken. Still, she can't shake the feeling that beneath the cold stares and clipped responses, there's more to Daniel than he lets on. And she's not the type to give up easily. Y/N and Daniel discover they aren't so different after all, as they both share a big secret. Thought they've handled their abilities differently, their struggles and fears mirror one another. Hello! this is my first actually published fan-fic, after writing in private for quite some time.
