In the stillness of 2:00 a.m., a lonely man stands,
Amidst the shadows, his soul aching, his heart's demands.
The world sleeps, but he remains awake, burdened by thoughts,
Echoes of solitude haunt him, as the night slowly trots.
Silent streets bear witness to his quiet despair,
In his eyes, a glimmer of longing, an unanswered prayer.
Lost in reverie, memories flicker like distant stars,
Each one a reminder of love's embrace, now afar.
His footsteps echo softly, a solitary sound,
Treading the path of solitude, he's outward bound.
Yet beneath the veil of darkness, he hopes to find,
A connection, a kindred spirit, a soul to bind.
But for now, he roams the city's deserted lanes,
An enigma to the world, a man burdened by his pains.
In the embrace of night, he seeks solace and release,
At 2:00 a.m., he faces the silence, seeking inner peace.

Poems of Pain and Solitude
For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. For the hearts that would ache while loneliness was the only company. For every moment of pain and solitude in this world that feels too cruel for such young and frail minds.Complete
