13 year old Serena is a middle school girl who loves looking at the twilight sky, daydreaming, watching kids shows and oversleeping to avoid dealing with her problems (and humans). She has always felt like an alien her whole life. She has secretly been holding on to her past for 2 years now and has been struggling to move on. She has not had any motivation to do things that would be considered super simple for most humans, and leaving her room was as difficult as climbing a mountain. After realizing that everyone around her has been changing and growing these past 2 years, and also after getting inspiration from her fav show, she realizes that she's wasted enough time and it's her turn now. One summer day, while looking at the twilight sky, she decides to start taking steps to make a new start in a new school with new motivation. Now she must stop running away and face all the challenges head on.
