Raven is the son of Red - who is in charge of the Forest Camp - and Heather - a former red-eyed warrior -. He struggles to live up to the expectations his mother and father have set. After nearly drowning in the lake he gets a visit from a mysterious tom who offers to help him, he gratefully accepts the tom's help. But what Raven doesn't know is that the mysterious tom is his uncle, Bone, the former leader of the red-eyed warriors.
