"I've lost my hope and my kind heart thanks to you. I may have ran away before, but I won't anymore."
The sun had rosen and Muzan was gone. However, there was a cost to this.
Tanjiro Kamado had turned into a demon thanks to his cells and is now immune to the sun. His sister was killed trying to save him, and the Hashiras and his friends around him were on the verge of death. However, instead of killing them, he kept them alive. But at what cost?
By turning them into demons. They were under his command now, as the new Twelve Kizuki. And him as the new Demon King. His kind hearted side was gone, and now replaced with a cruel and sadistic side.
Everyone else was dead around him. Except for one person.
Taeko Miyazaki, who was amongst the battle, had been helplessly watching her dearest friend turn her other close friends into demons, and having them under his command. However, instead of fighting...
She ran. She ran away from the battle, and away from everything behind her.
The master's son, who was now the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, has found out about the situation, but also Taeko's disappearance as well. However, when he meets her again, she is not alone.
However, Taeko has lost most of her hope in saving her friends. The only thing she could do is to prevent that from happening again in the future. Her pure hearted side still remains. However, there was also a cold, stoic, and vengeful side that she had shown.
And the new Demon King, Tanjiro Kamado has recently found out about her disappearance as well. And he wants her to join him.
And if she doesn't, he'd kill her.
