Dark Mystic: Deception

Abducted by the ruler of a small nation, a young woman starts a journal to understand what he really wants from her. While attempting to negotiate a complex mire of manipulation and deception, she slowly discovers she is not ordinary as she thought. Candidly recording her sensory, emotional, and analytical responses, she learns to adapt to often strange and sometimes terrifying situations forced upon her because of her connection to a powerful alien species and its technologies. Her adventures erase her naivete, replacing it with knowledge and understanding, competence and confidence, shaping her into a woman fully in control of her circumstances.
