Hal wakes up one morning when he had wanted to oversleep. It's a familiar voice, but something's different, who is this? He had only manage to talk to his Nex-gen AI girlfriend but would he now have to start all over again? It is a world of a new normal. The existence of portals from other dimensions that create zones where monsters thrive, and the fact that no humans of pure blood can cross it, puts the world's super powers at loss for how it can secure its survival. With the third world war coming to an end in 2127 after its 100 year span, the bloodshed has caught the attention of uninvited invaders that determined humans are nothing than food and toys for their amusement. This was the world Hal, a 22 year old college dropout knew but he cannot care for what happens outside when his stomach is rumbling as he struggles to go through daily life with no-one to lean on.
