It's been sixteen months since Amara Pendragon triumphed over Ranrok.
She found herself grappling with immense, untamed magic and the loss of Professor Fig. Her fear of the darkness she felt growing within her prompted a flight from Hogwarts just as the Hufflepuff's victory was declared in the house cup. She disappeared, sharing her whereabouts with no one, not even her closest confidante and concealed flame, Sebastian Sallow. Her self-imposed isolation was meant to foster healing, but it didn't go as planned.
For sixteen long months, Sebastian has waited, hoped, and failed in his attempts to find Amara, the girl who once guided him through his own personal abyss. He'd tried to move forward without her, but her sudden reappearance reignites feelings he'd desperately tried to extinguish.
Will the pair be able to move past their personal traumas and imperfections? Will they ever confess their hidden feelings for each other? Or will the threatening shadows of darkness overpower them both?

This story is mainly fluff, spice, and light-hearted moments. It doesn't include heavy scenes that revolve around mental health. Both Amara and Sebastian have been through a lot. They deserve a break and a rather "normal" year at Hogwarts.
