Y/N is near to be one of the last descendants of the Yagami Clan. Only a miniscule fraction of their DNA represents this, but they display all traits- the optimum human need to have optimum genes. 
They feel feral when near any Ackerman, but can't grasp for why. It's only natural, it's the way it is.
