In a desolate future where Earth is no longer inhabitable, humanity's only hope lies in the hands of a chosen young woman, the last glimmer of promise for a dying planet. As Earth fell out of its orbit, plunging into the icy abyss of space, the world was torn apart. The once-thriving surface now lies frozen and barren, and the remaining human population is forced to eke out an existence beneath the surface.
Amidst this bleak existence, the discovery of ancient Portals offers a faint glimmer of hope. These mysterious gateways connect distant worlds and civilizations, and one such portal has led to a call for help from a fallen planet on the brink of destruction.
The protagonist, a determined and resilient young woman, is chosen through rigorous testing and training to embark on this perilous journey. She must venture through the portals to seek aid for her people, to find the technology and knowledge that can save the remnants of humanity from extinction.
As she sets out on her quest, she faces unimaginable challenges and encounters various worlds, each with its own unique wonders and dangers. Along the way, she befriends courageous allies and confronts malevolent forces seeking to exploit the portals for their gain.
Time is of the essence, as the remaining human sanctuaries and engines that power the Earth's rotation are dwindling rapidly. The world's resources are depleting, and the once-mighty human civilization stands on the brink of collapse. The protagonist's journey becomes a race against time as she strives to secure help for her people before it's too late.

For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Her new boiling emotions bring her to wonder...what if it's a real place? When she starts her search for the island and bumps into Elis-the man in her dreams-she suddenly knows it wasn't all just a making of her imagination. Finding that island could mean finding the answers to her burning questions, and maybe even answers to questions she didn't know she had. However, not everything is what she thought it would be when she finally finds the island, and her dreams become a harsh reality. Elis turns out to be someone else, and when another man swoops in every time Maxine is in danger, she becomes confused about what love really is. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive.
