Pero ese efímero calor se rompe un día cuando Tanko encuentra a su familia asesinada y el único superviviente, su hermano Nezuo, se convierte en un demonio. Sin embargo, para su sorpresa, Nezuo todavía muestra signos de emoción y pensamiento humanos...

Así comienza la búsqueda de Tanko para luchar contra los demonios y convertir a su hermano en humano nuevamente.

Durante su búsqueda vuelve a toparse con Tomioka Giyuu el cazador que perdono la vida de su hermano y le ayudo, tras el pasar del tiempo junto al pilar del agua empiezan a desatarse sentimientos hacia este inician una nueva aventura para ambos...

Esta historia esta basada en el anime de las temporadas 1 y 2 y las peli además de fanfic, aunque claro no todo podría ser felicidad... :'v
