Forty people aboard a large ship in the 1800's in Evengline, a country struggling to survive in poverty, leave their homes to find what is called the "New World".  While aboard, the ships' captain and crew realize that they do not have enough food for everyone on the ship for the entire journey.  The captain tells the people on the ship that he is planning on killing 14 people out of the forty as to keep them from strarving.  Dmitri and his family of seven who are also aboard must fight for their lives to make it to this promised land....All Rights Reserved
