Six months have passed since Taniiaae defeated the dragon, Alduin and the First Dragonborn Miraak. Life goes back to normal for the most part, but she is still dealing with past trauma. Having enemies such as Vulono and Miraak have left her uneasy. Then rumors of a Vampire Coven returning to power starts to threaten peace in Skyrim with the legend of the Tyranny of the Sun.  

Serana was the daughter of the Lord and Lady of Volkihar. She hasn't seen her family in years, but she keeps having the same dreams. The Dragonborn is looking for her and her Elder Scroll.All Rights Reserved

Third story to "His Harbinger," sequel to "Something to Protect." Everything makes much more sense if you at least read "His Harbinger" first. Vilkas x Dragonborn (established) Farkas x Lydia (also established and a bit background) Based on my play through of the Dragonborn DLC with my Dragonborn Krinna Dovh, a female Nord. Krinna has visions and premonitions so there are some things she just knows (continuing a headcannon established in the first two books). Mostly told from Vilkas's perspective, with occasional snippets from the Dragonborn's perspective. Also explores aspects of married life; Vilkas being hot-tempered, but sweet and loyal. Story is set after the Companions quest line, the civil war, and the main story line is complete (events of "His Harbinger") and after the Dawnguard DLC (events of "Something to Protect") Also not entirely cannon compliant. And of course this is a fanfiction, the only thing unique to me is my specific characterization of the Dragonborn, everything else belongs to Bethesda, including portions of the dialogue. And lastly, marked mature for some strongly suggestive occasions (I won't write the details, but they're married), and occasional vulgar language.

While she is emotionally drained from the loss of her father figure, she has to make a decision to help save Tamriel from Alduin, and find out why she is being haunted by the one called Miraak. Meanwhile, she is cursed, along with her husband, Sinding, and the inner Circle of The Companions with Werewolf Blood, and she has to find a way to break the curse of Hircine, or the Daedric Prince will keep a clasp on them forever.

Much of the story is based off of my most recent playthrough- I had never met Serana before and I truly loved Aela the Huntress as my companion, but once I met Serana, I threw Aela to the wolves, so to speak. I had to write a fanfiction of how I would have loved for the story to go, tying in details from the game. ***Please note, this is an LGBTQIA+ work.
