17-year-old Newt has been in the Maze since the beginning. He arrived in the Box, with a bronze chain around his neck and a small journal. Written in scratched writing was one word: Remember.
Newt hates the Maze. He has every right to, when it's the place where he nearly died, and his true love did so.
