Jack Parker and his adoptive sister, Vivian Parker, has everything going well for them. Popularity at school, an easy home life, and for Jack, a high chance of winning a reward that would lead him to be the batboy for the Boston Red Sox. There's just one thing, Jack earned him and his sister those things by being the biggest liar around.

However, things suddenly take a turn for the worse when Mikey, one of Jack's lies, shows up while he's giving a speech. progressively, one by one, his lies appear, starting with two angry lumberjacks and an possessive girlfriend.

At first, Jack and his friends suspect that Vivian is behind it, since she's the only human with powerful chaotic abilities capable of creating illusions. But it becomes clear that a darker force is causing Jack's lies to become real, and the only way to stop it, is to tell the truth. Unfortunately, that would mean Jack would have to choose between two things: lose the chance of joining the Sox or risk having his life ruined...
