In the shape of a myth (Starling Alliance)

Hello, readers (if anyone ever reads this.). I'd like to invite you to read about one of many worlds I've created, this one being part of the outer layer of my universe.

This one is all about the shape-shifters, the strange arrangement of the planets, the powerful creatures that roam free and dominate. It's a story of exploration with an ultimate quest. Our main protagonist is definitely born different, but not the chosen one, not blessed by the heavens, if not with a few advantages from the start, but with plenty of flaws and difficulties.

Context: Humans live in their kingdoms and settlements. Shape-shifters live in tribes, but some lead human lives. The other animals are just like everywhere else, avoiding humans, being hunted by them too. There are spirits and creatures that would be described as monsters, and even beings that defy all logic. There are those that are on the top, that reign supreme and can't be provoked. These are mythical creatures, the end-path of evolution... and those that would try to steal its powers as well as the ones that gain their favor and become champions. There are unexplained and unique magical phenomena all around the world. Unique circumstances for most kingdoms, cities, empires and settlements. Generally a mess, but a planned mess.
