The Devil's Advocate

Ayla had just been accepted to the Roman Academy of the Dawn, a school for young men and women involving an introduction to Spiritual Law. She had no earthly law experience, but had been summoned to Heaven to discover what her true purpose was, only to find out that her true purpose was to be the Devil's Advocate and Therapist.

Lucifer, also known in the Heavenly realms as Heylel before "The Fall", was running out of time, hope, and faith for redemption. About 300 years before Ayla was born in 1990, he cried out to Adonai in hope of mercy, love, and forgiveness. He doubted he would receive any of those gifts from God because he never had understood the relationship Adonai had offered him. It wasn't until through the Heavenly chain of command and a spiritual prophecy had occurred did he realize in 2023, that it was possible that those prayers just might be answered. He received word from Michael, the Archangel, that he would be offered therapy and a defense attorney who would help him through the last days, especially before the Final Judgement.

Michael told Lucifer that he would have to train his own attorney to work for him in a way that was going to work out for the greater good, meaning that the attorney chosen for him, would have to be of high moral caliber. He was also told that this same person would be his therapist.

Lucifer laughed at the thought of having to train his own attorney... "Why should I have to do this? Does no one respect my authority? I'm too busy to do that..."

Michael just shook his head and said, "Brother, you are missing the point entirely...."
