The Dragoon pirate crew thought they were far removed from the war taking place in Bastion, but with the Empire's influence spreading like a virus, not even they can hide forever. They are known for being the best thieves around so they are often hired to steal things for others. When captain Ren received a mysterious proposition from a hooded man in a bar, he simply can't refuse.

He never would have guessed that this job would lead one member of his crew to becoming the weapon needed to take down the Empire and restore peace to Bastion. He's done his best to keep his crew out of the war. When a member of his crew is thrown into the center of the storm, will he jump in after her or hang her out to dry?
