The stars always were so lovely. Never seen in the day, overshadowed by the blazing Sun. Lost in the night because the Moon shone so much brighter. Covered by the shadows of clouds that floated around in the sky. Ignored in favor of watching the fireflies closer to earth. Overlooked when the eclipse accidentally steals the attention for itself. But when finally seen they give off a different kind of beauty, one that nothing else could ever replace.

Maybe that's why Selene always loved the stars so much. After all, how were they supposed to be like the sun when it light up everything so much brighter?
