Lily vs. the Minotaur." That's how she'd title her work memoir. Her non-work friends thought she simply worked for a jewelry manufacturer, largely designing engagement rings for prospective brides and sometimes delivering coffees. And technically- she did. But Davenney Diamonds was a world all its own, hidden in a non-descript office building. How Lily found herself in a job - with literal heaps of diamonds and precious stones on her desk- was a mystery, even to her. But she'd been navigating illogical pathways, hidden compartments, dead ends, and Home Alone style booby-traps for four whole years now. All while trying to avoid a certain pair of dark eyes. Despite designing wedding rings, Lily's own left hand was ringless. She didn't mind, though. She was quite certain that most single men of her age moonlighted as devils. Cross her heart and salt over shoulder, she would not be caught unawares, again. Aaron Tavarious was the actual worst of them, though. The metaphorical Minotaur of the Daveney Diamonds maze, his dark gaze seemed to follow her through the very walls. He was always looking for something, or someone, to devour. The animosity was mutual. Aaron liked to call Lily "Lil' Shelob", which was a nerdy reference about an enormous spider that she pretended to not understand. Lily did love to trap him in her webs, though. If only to watch him struggle. All her scheming and career plans went awry though, and Lily was faced with a hard situation. Too hard. A situation that might lead to her leaving Daveney Diamonds altogether. It was just - suspicious - that Aaron seemed to want to help her stay. If she didn't know better, she'd say he seemed almost... desperate to keep her in that Labyrinth with him. Maybe forever. ***This is my FIRST book, so the sincerest thank you for checking it out, and please be gentle.***

Daniella Robert gets the surprise of her life finding out that she was married to a guy she really didn't know anything about after having a night of shots with one of her best friends. Aaron James is not the kind of guy who believes in love or give a damn about the feelings of any woman. But it looks like this brunette with an "I don't give a fuck" attitude is on her way to winning his heart. His inheritance from his late grandfather is the only thing that he's got chemistry with, and he'd stop at nothing to get his hands on it even using the young mistress he met in the club. Would he be tamed by this brunette with smoky eyes to believe in love, or would this jerk of a Billionaire use her to his own advantage. Find out in this tale of love, romance, betrayal and deception. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Oh, mystery man had a name, Aaron, big surprise - I could hear myself talking to me. "I'm not sure, maybe." I said smiling, revealing my upper teeth, pretending I was enjoying the company, meanwhile waiting to get the hell out of here. "We have," I heard him say. "At the club, Antonio's." Antonio's rang a bell, I had a short flashback and tried to remember when I'd met number 23, sorry, I meant Aaron or whatsoever dad had called his name. "Your body is like that of a Greek god." He said chuckling, tilted his head and raised an eyebrow looking at me like I was supposed to understand whatsoever the fuck he was saying. "Your body is like a what?" I repeated, and that was when it came to me in a flash, "oh my God."
