Ree, Cece, and Dee have best friends their whole lives, more family than the ones they share blood with. Ree is one of thirteen, loud, Mexican children; being the middle child has it's advantages but with Ree he's taken his middle child syndrome too far into his love life. Cece's family broke up ten years ago and now that she's in love those ten year old insecurities are creeping to the surface. As Dee's marriage fall apart an old secret love comes back into his life. The trio soon discover that that every family has it's secrets even one secure as theirs.
