Alexis meets Derek Hale strolling through Beacon Hills one night. He was alone, brooding, and just wanting an escape from the drama in his life. She was bored, jacked up on caffeine, and needing a distraction before she went and did something stupid. Derek doesn't know why he can't shake the girl but he finds himself wanting to be annoyed by her, wanting to hear her tease him about his hair or all black wardrobe. And these feelings only intensify when her life is put at risk.
