This piece of writing is for everyone, past, present, and future, who has supported or will support me in any and all endeavors, but it is especially dedicated to the wonderful Z. What you will find in these pages is a mixture of many different genres. I can think of no true category that it conforms to fully, and know only that it is more fantastical than anything else, so for those who came here searching for a story of maidens and knights and kings, you will be sorely disappointed. Regardless, I encourage you to stay a spell and read it anyway. You might find that you enjoy it. This is but the first piece of the story of Sigrid, a girl in a world very different from our own, yet still recognizable. Please, only leave constructive and positive comments.
