In this Christian romance novel, Ruth is a young woman who's trying to live for God in this life of sin. Just like her, her life is far from perfect. Her father is the pastor and head of the church and her mother is involved in children's ministry, but behind closed doors, they fight like crazy. She has a rocky relationship with her brother, constantly has problems with her car, and her friends question why she even still believes if nothing good ever happens to her. Sometimes she wonders that too. She struggles the most with gossip and jealousy, and knows she can't overcome these things on her own. It's a good thing God is with us and also did not intend for man to be alone.

As all Christians do, she has her struggles. Sometimes we have to learn things the hard way before we believe and understand the truth. Ruth will eventually find out that she doesn't know it all and will be humbled. Despite it all, grace and mercy are offered freely so she never has to worry for too long.

RIGHT Weeks before Valentine's, seventeen-year-old Kate Lapuz goes through her first ever breakup, but soon she stumbles upon a mysterious new app called My Dream Boyfriend, an AI chatbot that has the ability to understand human feelings. Casually, she participates in the app's trial run but finds herself immersed in the empathic conversations with her customizable virtual boyfriend, Ecto. In a society both connected and alienated by technology, Kate suspects an actual secret admirer is behind Ecto. Could it be the work of the techie student council president Dion or has Kate really found her soulmate in bits of computer code? She decides to get to the bottom of the cutting-edge app. Her search for Ecto's real identity leads Kate to prom, where absolute knowledge comes with a very steep price.
