Lucia has never left the tower, locked away for her own safety by her dutiful mother to protect her most precious gift. In a world filled with disease, monsters, and horror, why would she ever want to leave? Or, at least, that was what she believed until a chance encounter with a stranger makes her reconsider her mother's warnings and her duty to stay inside. Maybe the chance to see the sun is worth the risk, and maybe there's a purpose for her that lies far beyond the tower's walls.
(The basic premise is inspired by Tangled, but most of the plot is a completely different, original story.)
