This is a story I've been thinking about creating for a while now, I have a whole Google slide I created just for story planning and inspiration. I will post parts of my story as I draft and edit them. Just a warning, it's not perfect or exactly how I want it to be as my only proofreading is me and AI (Grammarly).
Khayali Desdemona is 16 years old and a junior in high school. She lives in an abusive home in the corner of a bustling city. She often spends her time daydreaming and avoiding her problems. Eventually, they catch up to her one day when she's caught sleeping in class and her grades fail. Her mother decides to send her away for reform at her wealthy grandparent's house in a rural part of the world. During her few months there, she meets a girl named Maya Frances. She's a beautiful 17-year-old girl with long golden hair who seems to know a lot about the magical world living inside the large thicket of woods surrounding the manor. Khayali spends lots of time with Maya and meets the creatures of this strange dimension, as well as forming a strong bond with Maya herself. But who is Maya really and what is truly going on in the magical realm beyond the trees? And why is it that she only appears from the forest, and when Khayali needs her most?

Stepping into Adulthood
The story is about a group of friends. They're about to graduate from high school and step into their respective college life. On one hand they have the immense pressure of the school final exam and on the other hand they're filled with nostalgia. They're about to close one chapter of their life and step into another one. The story starts on the last day at school. Coming to school together for the last time, sitting together for the last time, having lunch together for the last time, bunking classes together for the last time, getting scolded / punished together for the last time. All of these combined create an environment where the students are completely immersed into enjoying their final day at school. They'll be leaving the school soon. They'll become the past tense while a new batch takes their place and a new future waits for the present one to become past. So, everyone's busy making one last memory. Some eager to bid farewell to their friends, some taking one last shot to propose to their crushes or some maybe just want to get it over with. Overall everyone's busy trying to make their ending(of school life) a happy ending. But the pursuit of a happy ending isn't always happy. Complications are very real things.
