Dorian Clarke, a boy who's been through a lot, meets Spunky and upbeat Rylan Graham. The second they meet, it immediately changes both of their lives. Slowly, they get closer and start to help each other in ways they didn't think they would. Rylan's love for fireworks causes a detrimental turn in their lives when he takes Dorian to see the 4th of July fireworks.
