It's winter in the Catskills, and Mitchell's Inn, a hotel tucked away in the mountain forests, is the perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway or a romantic tryst. When the weather deteriorates and a snowstorm causes a power outage and all communication is impossible, guests have no choice but to wait patiently for the opportunity to contact with the world outside the walls of the building. Meanwhile, one of Mitchell's Inn guests unexpectedly dies. It looks like a fatal accident has occurred, but when another person is killed, the people trapped in a remote hotel start to panic.
