Freedom comes at a prize, sometimes, the prize is more expensive than the result you expect.
Merripen Melgren wants freedom, so much that she'd quite literally give her life away, trying out for the rider's quadrant is her only way out so she doesn't hesitate.
But succeeding the parapet's ordeal isn't the only step to freedom, she knows it and she's ready for it. But is she ready to find freedom if it might cost her the very reason she's fighting for, her life ?

- Fourth Wing belongs entirely to Rebecca Yarros so do her characters, I won't pretend to follow the story seeing as it focuses on the love story between Merripen and Xaden, therefore changing the entire plot. It is recommended that you read Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm before reading this, but this may also be read without reading those books.
