These Sallow Feelings

Seraphina has been a home-schooled witch in the muggle countryside her whole life. While her family property is private, it still comes with it's difficulties with nosey muggles around. When she accepts her offer to study at Hogwarts for her 8-10th years (University), she is thrilled at the prospect of learning next to witches and wizards her own age. That is, of course until she arrives. Before she even gets sorted into her house, she is faced with a loud mouthed wizard and his more demure friend, who throw fireworks at her! Enraged, and slightly intrigued, she is pleased when she gets the opportunity to duel him in her first Defence Against the Dark Arts lecture. Sebastian Sallow is the most shallow, quick witted and admittedly handsome man Seraphina has ever had the displeasure of meeting, but when he is chosen to tutor her, her plans to steer clear go awry. Faced with H.O.W.L.S, the Yule Ball and an impertinent Sebastian, who she just seems to keep bumping in to, Seraphina has more on her plate than she ever expected. Thankfully, she can find some respite in her newly formed friendships, including a rather close one with a true gentleman, Ominis Gaunt.

Can she survive these tests of character and make the most of her time at Hogwarts, or will that crass, bossy, downright unbearable man keep finding his way into Seraphina's dreams? And why on earth is he so rude whenever Seraphina spends time with Ominis?
