Fallen

I grasp tightly to him and he pushes me away. I fall backwards and nothing can catch me. I continue to fall back into the darkness he once led me out of. I retched out to him tears burning in my eyes wondering why he pushed me back into this dreaded nightmare I've tried so desperately to keep away from.
