The fairies of Brightfort and the creatures of the Underworld should never meet or mix. Brightfort has taught its people to always stay away from the evil creatures of the underworld. They are taught they will kill with no explanation or mercy. But sometimes people lie, and sometimes people want to see if these sayings are true.
What happens when Six Brightfort fairies meet some creatures from the underworld? Do they fight? Or do they fall?

For the fae, magic is everything: status, power, wealth, honor. For Vera Reite, a fae born with no magic, it is a shameful reminder that she will never amount to anything.
