The whole of Arendelle was covered in black nightmare sand, blocking out the light of the sun.

Every occupant has been turned into a new type of nightmare soldier; even Kristoff and Elsa.
The only survivor is Anna, who must keep her beliefs close because that is the only thing shielding her from the nightmares and nightmare sand.

Eventually, she thought that the only way Anna could be ree, was if she was gone. So she left the world of the living. But not before Manny came. He turned Elsa into a Guardian. But made her forget. 300 years later, Elsa has travelled the world, only to be drawn to the North Pole where she meets Jack Frost. Jealous, Jack hates her and taunts her.
