The world had fallen into ruin long ago. Vampires ruled the supernatural world and were the highest in the royal monarchy. Any humans that did survive were turned into slaves. Mortals eventually become extinct. The modern world was ruled by Vampires. Werewolves had been hunted and locked away, left in prisons to rot for eternity. Most witches had either been executed. Or forced to serve the Vampires and if they denied, they were killed. What was left of the Fae was scarce. Most Seelie and Unseelie were long since extinct and only a few bloodlines existed.

The King's son, Prince Hallows was to find a Princess before the blood moon was to rise. As the months grew closer, it was now one week before the blood moon. The King's men had searched all over the world but none had impressed the Prince. Most feared him. The world had known how cruel the King was and his son was nothing short of a monster. Young women from all over the city had been taken and presented in front of the Prince. He was the King's only son that had yet to marry. His younger son, Vance had married before his older brother. A young witch named Roux. A descendant of one of the most powerful witch families to ever exist.
