A pandemic has wiped half the population of the world, leaving the other half scrambling for stability. Human society has crumbled, the world now being an every man or woman for themselves. Those who survived have been given a gift, a dangerous gift. Powers. The most common powers were; Flight, Super speed, Night vision and Regeneration. Most of the surviving population were given those powers but the remaining survivors were given more rare, more deadly, powers that the majority wanted to get their hands on. Akari was part of those few survivors that were given dangerous powers. Her powers were shapeshifting and lightning manipulation.

Will she be able to survive the power hungry survivors? Or will she succumb to them and be their mercenary to keep others away? Akari has to figure out what to do while also meeting others exactly in the same situation as her.
