On the de la Cruz family they are 3 sisters: Maria Valentina, Josefina, and Margarita. They are all different yet share the same blood. They have different stories yet share the same era. They have a broken heart that wouldn't be repaired(in Jo's case).

After reading "Jo and Laurie" by Stohl and De La Cruz, I was unsatisfied. In this tale, I have taken some elements of their plotline and made it my own. This is how I would have wanted the re-telling to look like, a lot more relationship building, character building, and reality.
