The Curse of the Broken Shrinking God
How can the two opposing forces survive when they both want to be the dragon? How much will one have to shrink in size before the curse is finally broken? The Dark One is so happy to be rid of the darkness he had constantly battled for a timeless eternity. But he must face the consequence of his actions facing his darkness head on. In part one God the dragon is as big as the universe put together, but us he begins to separate himself, his imagas turn against him. Both HaShem and Samael feel it is their destiny to unite the dragon once more. This leads to a battle the result of which the children of God become more and more broken and scattered in their thought. Once they were planets now they are ants. How small will they have to go before the dragon is whole again and God is once more the seven headed dragon? Each book faces another price that is paid in yet another fall of his images in the curse of the broken shrinking God. Part II: HaShem enjoys the love of his Father and finds love for his sister. She is belittled by her other brother yet HaShem wants to defend her. He finds he is willing to give up everything to see others share in that same simple love. Inspired & remixed with Greek Roman & European myths & legends; indigenous Luwian, Hittite, Trojan, & Anatolian cultures; biblical themes; & an original vision of mine. Experience a retelling of the Trojan War in a new light that reforms the Greek myth, forming a new Luwian myth, a legend that continues to take form into a bigger legend altogether, while keeping in touch with some of what was written in Homer's Iliad, Odyssey, Virgil's Aeneid, & other ancient writings; as I change what was originally there, & add unique ideas to the new myth & legend of the Trojan War. The story follows Priam's desperation for the wife he loves Hecuba to have a child. After hearing about Israel's Conquest of the land of Canaan & rumors spreading about their God amongst one of his commander's officers, he willingly sets out on a diplomatic mission to bring to the tribes of Israel gifts, going to Kedesh-Naphtali Priam comes into conflict with Sisera a Canaanite commander of 10,000 Canaanites & 900 chariots, meets Barak of Ephraim before he became a commander, & the prophet Deborah who led Israel at the time. The story continues on with the birth of Parizitis(Paris) & how he came to be as a shepherd boy with his adoptive parents Muwatalli(Agelaus), Kinasara, & his friends Muwaziti, Brutus, Francus, Achates, & Zinasara(Oenone), to him becoming the prince of Taruisa(Troy) meeting his half siblings Deiphobus, Troilus, Hector, & others. The Egyptian woman Merneith, having witnessed the devastating plagues that struck Egypt, felt a deep stirring within her heart. In this story, there was a boy, he grew up into a great man. A man made legend. The supernatural of the world itself, wrapping around the finger of a legend, a legend made God. Creator: Friend or Foe?
This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental.
