After the highly profitable & popular boom period of 1960's Professional Wrestling had ended, it progressively started its steady decline as the business entered the turn of a new decade, transitioning into the 1970's would bring its own array of challenges, complications, clashing egos & political backstage problems. 8 years have passed & now the Industry of Professional Wrestling in 1978 is struggling to survive, fighting tooth & nail to remain relevant amongst a dwindling audience of fickle & extremely vocal fans. An audience of revolting wrestling fans who are tired of the same old stars, regurgitated formula & a mostly uninspired, predictable, by-the-numbers, black-and-white presentation, long since frustrated with cheering & booing the same lineup of old veteran stars. A bold, brash change in direction is needed, but will the landscape of the various American Wrestling Promoters finally listen to fans? The same fans urging the respective companies to formulate bold new ideas & book young stars in fresh innovative rivalries & storylines. Will the old guard of veteran wrestling stars sabotage the winds of change & destroy any notion of a new era before it even starts?! Will the new upstart & unorthodox visionary promotion, Wrestling Warfare Federation become viable competition? This is the story of rookies and veterans, fans and promoters, referee's and bookers, backstage politics, championship titles and blurring the lines of reality. Will the ego of legends abuse their power or will the love & passion of a talented group of upstart rookies put aside the mutual real animosity for one another & finally put the business first? As a host of Promotions across the territories start to fold & shudder under the immense pressure, as they each begin to make grave errors or foolish & fatal mistakes they cannot recuperate from & will soon systematically fall by the wayside. The crucially fragile & stagnating state of the industry could very well be at stake!!!

"Fucking hell Katerina! What the fuck is wrong with you? Tonight of all nights why couldn't you have just been fucking normal? The rest of the time if you want to roller boot around and pretend the world is all unicorns and rainbows well that's up to you but for tonight your family needed you to be a damned adult and take responsibility! Was it really too much to ask for?" She didn't reply and as they pulled up to the house he switched off the engine then watched incredulous as she silently got out of his car and started to walk not to her parents house but to her own. Suddenly realising she intended to avoid her parents Bret jogged round the car to catch up to her, reaching out a hand and grabbing her arm. "Oh no you don't!" he started to say but she made a guttural sound, like an animal in pain and he released her arm quickly, just as her security light came on, illuminating them both and as he looked down at her Bret took a step back, covering his mouth in shock... She was just a girl. She needed to get a proper teaching job, stop playing with kids. She needed to stop wearing primary colours; where was the harm in a little black dress once in a while? She needed to stop roller booting everywhere, walk or drive like a normal person. She needed to stop cartwheeling and playing with the kids. It was time she grew up. But when circumstances forced Kitty to change, to grow up would it actually be what her family really wanted? Would it be what Bret wanted or would it force him to see that the girl he really loved was right in front of him all the time and now it might be too late to ever get her back.
